For Muslims worldwide, the two religious occasions, Eid-al-Fitr and Eid-al-Adha, are times when they come together with a celebratory spirit. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the month of fasting, while Eid-al-Adha honors Prophet Abraham’s (PBUH) willingness to sacrifice his son, the young Prophet Ismael, in obedience to the Lord’s command. On both occasions, we see the festive spirit embody itself in generous charity, communal worship, exchange of gifts, connecting over good, and more.

As Eid Day approaches, among other things, homemakers must start to think about the menu for their Eid party. Let us share some exciting ideas for Eid foods that are quick and easy but delicious and unique – impress your guests with a little novelty and make more time to enjoy the day without exhausting yourself.

Make your celebration delicious with these savory Eid foods

Let’s host your Eid party this year, with these flavorful ideas for Eid foods complete with time-saving hacks!

Butter chicken puff pastry

There are very few things that beat the joy of biting into a hot pastry with its perfectly delicate crunch and savory juicy filling. This recipe allows you to stuff rich and creamy butter chicken into a puff pastry, and bake until golden brown and ready to serve.

Quick recipe idea: Use Kaiser Butter Chicken to cut back on prep time, and frozen pastry dough off-the-shelf. To enjoy the best results heat the butter chicken, remove all the meat, and shred it. Cut the pastry dough as big as you want. Add the shredded chicken with just a little curry sauce. Do not add too much or the pastry might get soggy. Seal properly, apply egg wash on top, and bake as per package instructions. Serve warm.

Chicken tikka masala pasta

It may seem basic, but pasta is always a safe choice – especially when you have kids at your party. After all, who doesn’t enjoy good, hearty pasta? This fusion recipe combines the creamy, spicy, and tomato-ey goodness of chicken tikka masala with a pasta of your choice. Move away, Arrabiata! There is a new favorite in town!

Quick recipe idea: You can make the sauce from scratch, but this should be the last thing to worry about on Eid morning. Instead, heat a pack of Kaiser Chicken Tikka Masala and you are good to go. Boil the pasta you like, although we suggest Farfalle or bow tie pasta that looks super fancy. Add just a little pasta water to your chicken tikka masala. This will bring the sauce together before it goes into the pasta. Garnish with grated parmesan. Prepare to keep the servings big because your guests will be helping themselves to seconds!

Beef seekh kebab pita wraps

Wraps are some of the best party foods anywhere in the world. All you have to do is assemble them and put them on the table. They are easy to eat, portable, and require less cleanup. A simple, hassle-free, and delicious item on your Eid menu. These seekh kebab wraps have everything you want from a good wrap – lots of protein, fresh veggies for texture, and a delightful sauce to tie it all together.

Quick recipe idea: Get Colonel Kababz Beef Seekh Kabab and a pack of pita to make these wraps quick and easy to assemble. The kebabs come fully cooked, so warm them and place them onto the pita. Add color, crunch, and flavor with roasted bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, and fresh lettuce. Finally, drizzle some mint raita and tightly secure the wrap. You can cut them into halves to make them easier to eat.

Chicken 65 sandwiches

Sandwiches are always a great part of any party platter. For a little desi touch this Eid, try Chicken 65 sandwiches. They are yummy, and filling, and have a fun twist on an all-time favorite Indian appetizer.

Quick recipe idea: Getting Kaiser Chicken 65 will drastically reduce prep time. This Kaiser snack comes fully cooked, so all you have to do is assemble your sandwiches with the condiments of your choice. We suggest putting chili or barbecue sauce on one side and mayo on the other. Cut these delicious sandwiches in half triangles or quarters for an aesthetic look, and serve them on a long, beautiful dish.

Chicken burgers with buffalo sauce

If you want to offer a little variety to the kids at this year’s Eid party, chicken burgers are the perfect choice. Make sure to put more than the kids may consume. Most adults don’t grow out of their childhood love for the classic chicken burger. If you have your non-ethnic friends coming over this Eid, chicken burgers with buffalo sauce would please their taste buds too.

Quick recipe idea: Using Kaiser Chicken Breast Patties would allow you to focus on your sauce preparation instead of making the patties from scratch. For the sauce, simply put cayenne pepper hot sauce, honey, garlic powder, paprika, and melted butter in a pan and mix until the ingredients combine well.

To assemble, toast your buns, spread the sauce, and add lettuce and the juicy chicken patties. Top it all with a little sauce. The juicy chicken patty is the perfect vessel for the buffalo sauce since it soaks it up nicely, giving you a chicken burger you won’t forget anytime soon. Try serving them soon after ready for the best experience.
